Fancy a bit of luxury limo action in a supermini? Then the revised Vauxhall Corsa is just the ticket for you as the new SE model offers a heated steering wheel just like that found in the Rolls-Royce Phantom and Range Rover. There are also heated seats included in the price. Toasty.
The SE replaces the previous Design model, while the S takes over from Life versions and Exclusiv picks up where Club models left off as Vauxhall adopts the same badging policy as used on the
new Astra and
Insignia. The SXi, SRi and VXR models all remain in the line-up.
Economy for all models - except the VXR - has been improved and emissions are also down across the range. The 1.0-litre ecoFLEX version now manages 76.3mpg combined economy.
Underneath the skin, Vauxhall has fitted softer front springs, a new anti-roll bar for the front suspension and revised dampers all round. It says this improves ride quality and handling so the Corsa will now rival the best in class. We'll have to wait until we drive the revised Corsa before we know if this has worked.
In the meantime, we can tell you prices have been reduced and the range now starts at £10,285 for the three-door 64bhp ecoFLEX S model. Top of the price tree is the VXR at £17,155.
