Although we are only halfway through 2009, Land Rover has unveiled its 2010 models for the first time in the UK. The launch took place at Motorexpo; in Canary Warf, London. The Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 4 receive styling changes, new engines and completely redesigned interiors.
Land Rover has also announced prices for the 2010 Range Rover, which is due to go on sale from mid-July. In Vogue trim with the 3.6-litre TDV8 engine the Range Rover costs £64,695. The price includes 19-inch alloy wheels, a new TFT Virtual Instrument Panel and a Harman/Kardon sound system. The Vogue SE gets more wood trim and leather seats while the Autobiography model has hide-covered door panels and headlining. Top model is the £79,995 Autobiography with the new 5.0-litre supercharged petrol V8. The new engine develops 503bhp and to help transfer the power to the road there is a rear electronic differential. Also available in the 2010 Range Rover is a 5.0-litre un-supercharged V8.
Both new V8 engines are also available in the new Range Rover Sport, which optionally comes with a new, 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6 motor. Both the Range Rover Sport and the Discovery 4 will go on sale from 1st September and prices for these models will be announced nearer that date. Motorexpo runs until June 14th.
