Nissan has announced a new variant of the Qashqai and Qashqai+2. The 'n-tec' incorporates Nissan's latest in-car entertainment and navigation system, Nissan Connect.
The key component of the n-tec version is the Nissan Connect integrated navigation and entertainment unit. Featuring a five-inch touch screen display, the navigation system offers 2D and 3D display options and a full postcode search facility. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity, radio, CD player and both line-in and USB ports for connecting with MP3 players. Finally, there is a colour rear-view camera for easier reversing.
Nissan has also ensured that the n-tec looks the part on the outside. Eighteen-inch alloy wheels are fitted, the rear windows have privacy glass and there is a panoramic glass roof. Roof rails are also standard and these have a satin silver finish that also appears on the door handles.
The Nissan Connect system is also fitted to the top-of-the-range Qashqai Tekna, which adds Xenon headlamps, body-coloured door handles and black leather trim. The Tekna trim level is priced from £19,245 while the n-tec starts at £17,645.
Customers can order the new Qashqai and Qashqai+2 n-tec now while the first cars will reach Nissan dealers in early May.
