Lada showcased for the first time its new C-Cross at this week's Moscow Motor Show. The SUV concept is claimed to nudge 120mph and hit 62mph in eight seconds, thanks to its 2.0-litre petrol powerplant.
Twenty percent of Russian car sales fall under the Sports Utility Vehicle segment and Lada has finally decided to take part. As for a UK comeback, things have been muted with a company spokesman claiming Lada has no current plans for the UK.
The C-Cross's relatively small size means it's a mix of town car and off-roader, according to Lada. The company claims it's only a concept and says there are no immediate production plans for this Citroen name-alike.
