The famous Jensen badge is finally scheduled for a resurrection, with V Eight Ltd updating 25 existing cars, with body, interior and mechanical changes planned for 2010 delivery.
According to V Eight, all SXs - as they're to be called - will have a new luxury interior with increased leg room, modern body styling and a GM engine developing 620bhp.
The company, headed by Alan Garnett, ex-Morgan chairman, believes there's enough demand for the project to go ahead and that the Interceptor SX will offer classic looks coupled with modern reliability and dynamics.
A handful of orders have already been confirmed at a price of around £145,000.
