Porsche has announced a new model in the Cayman range, the Cayman S Sport. The 299bhp coupé goes on sale in September and only 700 examples will be produced.
Visually the Cayman S Sport is inspired by the
911 GT3 RS, with black "Cayman S" graphics on the flanks as well as black painted wheels, mirrors and air intakes. Standard colours are green and orange with red, yellow, black, white and silver also available.
Inside, Porsche has given the Cayman S Sport a special instrument pack with circular dials and no binnacle. The sports seats are finished in black leather while the steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake are covered in Alcantara. A numbered plaque on the glove box confirms the Cayman's place in the 700 car limited production run.
Mechanical modifications include a 299bhp engine, standard fitment of Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), lowered suspension and a 10mm wider track. Other changes include 19-inch SportDesign wheels, a sports exhaust and Bi-Xenon headlamps.
The Cayman S Sport goes on sale on 13th September and will cost £49,890, £5,640 more than the standard
Cayman S.
