| Competition | Lotus 60th anniversary |
One lucky person will win a Lotus Elise for six months as part of the Norfolk-based firm's 60th anniversary celebrations. The winner of the 'Live the Lotus Life' competition will be announced at the company's Hethel headquarters on 14 September.
Sixty finalists will be selected from an
online competition. Each finalist is awarded a key and the one that fits the car on 14 September gets to keep it for six months. The car will come with full insurance and even £1,000 in prize money to help put fuel in it.
For the whole of Sunday 14 September, Lotus is turning its factory into a fair. Attractions will include a fun fair, farmers' market, auction and RAF displays. There will also be the chance for visitors to see an exhibition of specially commissioned art work that charts the development of the new Project Eagle supercar, which will be launched at the
British International Motor Show in July.
