GTA may not be a familiar name outside of Formula 3 motor racing, but the Spanish outfit is planning to take the supercar world by storm with a new 700bhp machine. As yet unnamed, GTA's supercar is intended to have a top speed of around 211mph.
The Spanish supercar will use construction methods garnered from GTA's motor racing background such as a carbon fibre tub. A mid-mounted V10 engine will supply the power through a six-speed sequential manual gearbox.
GTA is said to be looking at the
BMW M5's V10 or the engine from the Dodge Viper as possible power units. As the car is still at the design stage, either is possible.
The proposed price for GTA's supercar is £450,000 and the company says it has already taken eight orders, though no delivery date has been given.
