Ford is having another little fettle of the world's best-selling sports coupe, which - in case you're wondering - is of course the Mustang. Across the range, new colours and the FordPass Connect WiFi hotspot software are being drafted in, while the 2.3-litre EcoBoost models gain styling updates which invoke the Shelby GT350 and GT500 cars. So look for door mirrors and a boot spoiler finished in Magnetic Grey, dissolve-effect black bonnet stripes, a Magnetic Grey California grille with the tri-bar pony badge seen on 1965 Mustangs and machine-finished 19-inch wheels; they also gain the Active Valve Performance Technology - this has the Good Neighbour Mode to let owners drive quietly off at unsociable hours of the day. Fans of the Mustang Bullitt will be pleased to know it is continuing for another year in Europe, while there's another special edition available. Called the Mustang55, it celebrates 55 years since the Mustang's inception and is based on the 450hp V8 vehicles. It gains black exterior detailing, a high level of standard specification and interiors with special gear knobs - choose from Fastback or Convertible bodies, or the six-speed manual or ten-speed auto transmissions. All revised Mustangs will be available to order from August.
