We've had the 306hp/400Nm Mercedes-AMG A 35 and we already know the A 35 Saloon is incoming. Furthermore, Mercedes-AMG has confirmed it will AMG-ify the CLA four-door coupe and, at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the CLA Shooting Brake's return was announced. So can you guess what happens next? Yes, that's right: we've got a Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 Shooting Brake. Packing the same 'M260' turbocharged four-pot as its siblings, 4Matic+ AWD and a seven-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch gearbox, 0-62mph takes just 4.9 seconds for this compact wagon, with the top speed limited to 155mph. It'll also have a 505-litre boot and the option to fit AMG Ride Control adaptive dampers, too, so this represents one decently quick little super-estate. Tobias Moers, the chairman of Mercedes-AMG, said: "The new CLA 35 Shooting Brake, with its expressive design, the agile vehicle dynamics and the flexible load compartment, is an attractive alternative for young customers who lead an active life with various leisure activities. With the Shooting Brake, we are offering these individualists access to the exciting world of AMG Driving Performance, which is tailored to their specific requirements."
