Of all those travelling to the Goodwood Revival this weekend, Rolls-Royce will have one of the shortest commutes - its factory and head office is just across the boundary of the famous racing track.

As always, Rolls will have a major presence at the Goodwood Revival, including a display area called 'March Motor Works' set in the swinging '60s, The Works includes a period Rolls Royce showroom, recapturing the sights, sounds and atmosphere of one the marque's glamorous locations during the same period.

Smack dab in the middle of the showroom will be the 1966 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Drophead Coupe by Mulliner Park Ward, which was the (mechanical) star of the 1966 British film classic, 'Blow-Up', directed by Michelangelo Antonioni and starring David Hemmings, Vanessa Redgrave, Sarah Miles and internationally renowned 'Super Model', Veruschka. Actors pretending to be those stars will be on hand, so the potential for selfies is massive.

The Course Director for the race track itself will have some interesting wheels for the weekend. Not for him the usual ancient Mondeo with flashing yellow lights on the roof. No, he'll be getting about in a 1966 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Touring Limousine (PV 23 design), with a body by coachbuilder James Young. Finished in ivory over black and one of very few made with Hooper rear windows, it also has the original mechanical dashboard clock.

On top of all of that, there'll be plenty of modern Rolls-Royces too, ferrying VIPs and special guests around the Goodwood circuit during the course of the weekend.
