2017-11-01: Get ready for the Ultimate Aston Vanquish

What's all this then?

This is the Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante Tom Brady Signature Edition.

Who's Tom Brady?

Oh, he's really famous, he's won the Superbowl five times.

The Superbowl? Is that what you have really healthy cereal in?

No, the Superbowl. As in American football. The NFL. Touchdowns, cheerleaders, Beyonce at half time, all that.

Oh right, yes! Rugby for wimps, isn't it?

Try saying that to Brady's face. He's a big chap and is one of the best-paid players in the NFL. He led the New England Patriots to those five Superbowl wins, he's married to a supermodel, and now he's got his own signature Aston Martin. Using the 'Q by Aston Martin - Commission' service, Aston and Brady picked the Vanquish S Volante convertible (all 580hp and 12 cylinders of it) and added some seriously dark styling. The exterior is done in Ultramarine Black, and the interior leather is Dark Knight, with some small highlights of bright red California Poppy.

Tom has signed the door sills and there are TB12 badges on the front wings and embossed into the headrests, 12 being Brady's team number. And to tie things up nicely, just 12 cars will be built.

Tom Brady himself said: "It was an easy decision to go with the Vanquish S for the special edition - it is an incredible car to drive and is truly a work of art. Going through the process of curating a unique Aston Martin has been fascinating. We started with a blank canvas and finished with this beautiful car. It's been great to see it all come to fruition and I'm proud to share a name with it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!"

Aston Martin's Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman said: "Q by Aston Martin - Commission is the ultimate in bespoke, in fact it can even go as far as creating an entirely new car. Tom chose the Vanquish S as he recognises natural athletic performance when he sees it. He has curated a beautiful, tailor-made car that will excite its owners for many years to come."
