What's all this about?
It's a teaser release on a new car that'll be shown off at the forthcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, and in this case the all-new car in question is the Mazda CX-5.
The CX-5? That's only been around for about four years, hasn't it?
Indeed so, with a mild facelift already having taken place in late 2014. Mazda says it has 'refined all aspects' of the design and technology to 'deliver new dimensions of driving joy' for the new car, but whether it really is an all-new model will have to be seen.
Fair enough. Anything else Mazda is taking to LA?
Alongside the CX-5 will be the MX-5 RF and examples of the Mazda3, Mazda6, CX-3, the existing CX-5 and the CX-9, a large SUV that is sold in America. There will also be a world premiere of its Prototype race car and technology exhibits of the 2.0-, 2.5- and turbocharged 2.5-litre SkyActiv-G engines.
