What's all this about?
There's a new DS model in town.
Hang on, is this just a Citroen DS but minus the badging?
You've got it in one. The DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio models are essentially their Citroen counterparts that have been on sale since 2010, only without the double chevrons this time. DS has added some new front lights and an extra range of personalisation options to further differentiate the update.
Which drivetrains can I choose from?
There's a PureTech 130 three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, while the EAT6 automatic transmission is now available paired up with the 110 PureTech engine.
And is there a performance model?
Yes, and to help you its official name is the DS 3 Performance, available in hatch or Cabrio body styles. This replaces the old 'Racing' and has a 208hp engine.
Anything else?
Yup, Britain is the leading arena for DS sales, with more of the luxury brand's models being sold in 2015 on our shores than even in its homeland of France or any other global market.
