What's all this about?
DS is mixing darkness and light with the DS 3 Dark Light limited edition. Only 300 examples will be sold in the UK. It's on sale now, priced from £20,795 and based on the DStyle Nav trim level.
What makes it special?
Finished in Perla Nera black metallic paint the Dark Light edition gets a special, clear-backed vinyl wrap with a metallic finish. The wrap is supposed to give a shimmering effect and lend the DS 3 a stylish, premium look. According to DS Automobiles the vinyl is durable enough to withstand scratches, car washes, pressure washes and spilt fuel.
Other exterior touches include LED headlamps, chrome door mirror caps and 17-inch black diamond-cut alloy wheels.
On the inside there are leather-trimmed sports seats, aluminium pedals and special floor mats. The Convenience pack brings with it power folding door mirrors, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and automatic lights and wipers.
What's under the bonnet?
Just one powertrain is available; the PureTech 110hp petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
