The original MGF should have looked this good!
Two new MG models were launched in Geneva. The first is merely a limited edition - the MGF 75 SE celebrates MG's 75th birthday. 2000 specials will be produced, available with the 1.8-litre fuel-injected engine or the more expensive VVC. Both come with matching leather interior and soft-top, accompanied by wood trim and chrome door handles, air-intake and grille.

The more exciting new car is shown above (Photograph provided by Rover Group UK) - the stunning MGF Super Sport. Mechanically, the Super Sport is based around the running gear of the MGF Cup racers - adopting that cars suspension and brakes. The agressive stance is enhanced by flared wheel arches (front & rear) and new bumpers and side sills. The new model goes on sale in the year 2000 with a 200bhp supercharged K-series engine - the original MGF should have been like this! Although, 30,000 seems like a high price to pay for a 1.8-litre car.
