The 440 bhp Mustang GT-R took centre stage on Ford's
New York show stand. The stunning concept adheres to rules for various GT racing series, which could herald a return to the track for the pony car. The GT-R is said to share 85% of the basic model's parts with the main feature being the 5.0-litre V8. Customers will be able to buy the engine off the shelf at the Ford dealer for around £8k.
