What?
This is the latest addition to the Citroen Picasso range, a new smaller multi-purpose vehicle. Despite its diminutive size the Picasso offers a large internal space and all manner of versatile ways to divide that space between people and luggage. The back seat slides to balance passenger space with luggage needs, while everything from pens to maps should find a perfectly suited cubbyhole. On the road Citroen claims that the C3 Picasso has a tight turning circle and a generous glass area for all-round visibility. A range of two petrol and two diesel engines offer a selection of performance and economy options.
When?
The C3 Picasso will be arriving in the UK in mid 2009. We don't have a definite date for driving one yet but keep an eye on the
Reviews Page.
Verdict?
Citroen seems to know what customers want from compact MPVs so it is difficult to imagine the C3 not gaining a loyal following. We'll reserve final judgement until we've got our hands on one but on the basis of the marque's current form the 'baby' Picasso should do well.
