What's this then?

This is the McLaren 720S Stealth.

Stealth? As in radar-absorbing material?

No, Stealth as in it looks subtle, for a supercar, because it's painted dark grey.

Oh.

Don't sound so disappointed. That 'Sarthe Grey' paint has been specially made for one lucky McLaren customer, by the guys and girls at McLaren Special Operations (MSO). In fact, the car has been created just to show how small, individual tweaks can make a car like this unique.

How unique?

Well, aside from the one-off grey paint, there are also little flashes of 'Vermillion Red' highlights, but these aren't sprayed on - they're hand painted, in a process that takes more than 200 hours.

Better watch for stone chips. Anything else?

Well, there's lots of 'naked' carbon fibre on the outside, with visible weave, and inside there's extra carbon too, plus grey Alcantara trim with red contrast stitching.

But it won't avoid police radar?

No. Sorry.
