Mercedes announces pricing of A-Class saloon

Mercedes has announced pricing and specification for its new A-Class saloon. For now, there are two models in the saloon range, the A 180 d (powered by a 1.5-litre diesel) and a 1.3-litre petrol A 200, both available in a choice of Sport or AMG-Line trim. There's a high level of spec inside with big touchscreens, a powerful, voice-activated multimedia system and tonnes of driver assistance. Prices start from £27,875 for the A 180 d Sport, climbing to £29,295 for an A 200 Sport in AMG-Line spec. The saloon is on sale now with first deliveries expected in early 2019.
