2018-06-05: Driven: Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce

Alfa Romeo has introduced a series of new Euro 6D-compliant engines to its Giulia and Stelvio ranges. The updated diesel engines in the line-up get AdBlue capability, reducing NOx emissions and, in some models, resulting in a modest 10hp power boost. The company has also introduced another member to the Giulia family, the Veloce Ti, a mid-range, 280hp 2.0-litre turbo model with the looks of the hot, range-topping Quadrifoglio. Prices for the Veloce Ti start from £45,500. Other reassuring news from Alfa comes in the form of a newly-introduced five-year warranty, three years of scheduled servicing and five years of roadside assistance as standard.
