Brabus has unleashed its own version of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S, the Brabus 600. That 600 represents the compact SUV's horsepower figure, up 90hp from the standard AMG GLC's 510hp. The tuner has achieved this by reworking the ECU on the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, changing the ignition and injection mapping and fiddling with the turbo boost pressure. Think a 0-62mph time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed 'limited' to 186mph. Like the standard GLC it will be available in both SUV and coupe-SUV forms with lots of external carbon-fibre for both visual and aerodynamic effect. A lower ride height, set of quad exhausts and an array of 19- to 22-inch wheels all set-off the purposeful look nicely.
