The new Rover 75 Classic

The award-winning Rover 75 can now be specified in a Classic and Classic SE trim specification. The new range entrant is now being built at Rovers Oxford plant and includes a high standard specification with a choice of four world-class engines.

The 1.8 Classic starts the new range at 18,280 on-the-road.

The Rover 75 is a thoroughly modern British motor car, incorporating the latest technological features. It has the ability to cover long-distances, cruising with ease, with comfortable seats, trimmed in plain velour with colour co-ordinated piping that matches the choice of three carpet colours.

From a safety perspective every Rover 75 features front seat mounted side (thorax) airbags, drivers airbag and incorporated with the full width wood veneer dashboard is a passenger airbag. A new option is the side head impact protection (ITS) priced at 150.

Body coloured door mirrors and bumpers with bright inserts complement the tasteful application of full length chrome finishers along the waist and sill and help set the Rover 75 apart from its competitors in the executive car market. The chrome number plate surround and door handles feel just as good as they look.

The new SEAT Ibiza

British debut of the new Ibiza range is set for the London Motor Show on 20 October as the UK specification superminis are revealed for the first time at Earls Court. The worlds best selling SEAT now gains a strikingly distinctive new look, a range of advanced new engines, an all new interior and higher levels of refinement. SEAT is readying the first versions to go on sale in UK showrooms during October.

Two million Ibiza examples have been built since 1984, when the car was first launched. Named after the holiday paradise island of Ibiza, Europes night club capital visited each summer by half a million Britons, the sharp-looking Ibiza supermini is the most famous SEAT in the range.

The Ibiza has consistently claimed the top seller status for SEAT in Britain since imports began here in the mid 1980s. Now on show in London for the first time will be the 1.4-litre S and 1.6-litre Sport models as well as the accomplished 90 BHP TDi version. The potent flagship 20V T Cupra model will head the show stand line up.

In Britains SEAT showrooms the Ibiza launch will be phased with 1.4-litre Ibiza models arriving first and the 1.6, TDi 90 and 20V T arriving in the UK at the turn of the year. A further list of exciting new Ibiza models is set to arrive in Britain in early spring next year

The new Almera will introduce a host of innovations to the UK market including three-dimensional satellite navigation, active anti-whiplash head restraints and advanced 16-valve petrol and diesel engines that already exceed strict EU emissions targets.

In addition, the new Almera is the third model to be manufactured at Nissans award-winning plant in Sunderland Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd (NMUK) has been independently rated as Europes most efficient and productive plant for the last three consecutive years.
