What's the news?

Nissan has teamed up with purveyors of the finest dance music, the Ministry of Sound (MoS), to build a pair of special edition Juke models.

Exterior

In keeping with the MoS's black and white logo the limited edition Juke will be available in either Metallic Black or Solid White. Whatever colour you choose all MoS special editions will come fitted with white 17-inch alloy wheels, white door handles and white mirror caps. Contrast will be provided by B-pillars that are finished in high-gloss and all cars will sport a unique MoS badge to distinguish them from regular Jukes... you know, just in case the white wheels didn't give it away.

Interior

The black and white colour theme continues inside where a white centre console, white door trim and white stitching contrasts against the largely black interior. Each MoS Juke will be supplied with an engraved Apple iPod pre-loaded with music and videos. The iPod can either be used with the integrated cradle in the car or on the move where you can use the exclusive Juke-branded headphones. An activation code that allows customers exclusive VIP access to the Ministry of Sound music store will also be provided.

Mechanicals

The Juke with Ministry of Sound option is available across the engine range, including the flagship 190hp 1.6-litre turbocharged DIG-T petrol and a 110hp 1.5-litre dCi diesel. The MoS Edition also marks the introduction of a new stop-start system for the 117hp 1.6-litre petrol engine. This costs an additional £200 but reduces CO₂ emissions from 139- to 136g/km with fuel economy also improving.

Anything else?

The Juke with Ministry of Sound will be officially unveiled at the 2012 Moscow International Motor Show that opens on August 29. Order books are then expected to open with prices starting from £17,895. Better hurry though, as Nissan says only 250 will be produced.
