The Nissan Juke is now more economical, thanks to revised gear ratios. Both the 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel with manual transmission have been altered to help cut running costs.
With petrol power the official combined cycle fuel economy is now 47.1mpg - an improvement of 2.3mpg. Carbon dioxide emissions are down 8g/km to 139g/km, which drops this model into VED Band E. With the reduction in tax band owners will save £15 a year; overall Nissan claims ownership costs are down £232 over three years, based on 10,000 miles per year.
For the 1.5dCi diesel fuel economy goes from 55.4- to 57.6mpg with CO2 emissions dropping from 134- to 129g/km. The diesel Juke is now in VED Band D and costs £95 a year to tax. Over three years drivers could save around £172.
Nissan has not increased prices so the revised Juke is available from £13,395.
