The all-new Mercedes-Benz M-Class is on its way to the UK, and to coincide with the car's launch two Special Editions will be offered. Available as either the ML 250 BlueTEC for £43,235 or the ML 350 BlueTEC for £46,335 the special editions pack a generous equipment level with a range of options.
Exterior highlights on both models include aluminium-finish running boards with rubber studs, chrome under-guards in the front and rear bumpers, LED daytime running lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, metallic paint in one of four colours and the Mirror Package of electrically operated, heated, folding and auto-dimming door mirrors. Twenty-inch rims are available for £630 while Diamond White paint comes in at £815.
Inside, both cars benefit from Artico artificial leather upholstery in a choice of three colours, a multi-function four-spoke steering wheel finished in Nappa leather, front seats with full electric adjustment and four-way lumbar adjustment on the driver's side, and an stereo system with a 5.8-inch colour display, Becker Map Pilot satellite navigation, Bluetooth and a USB port. Proper leather hide can be specified for £1,305 while the Mercedes-Benz COMAND system is offered for £750 - a saving of £1,380 on its standard price.
Both the ML 250 and 350 are mated to the latest 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic gearbox and feature stop-start. The four-cylinder ML 250 BlueTEC develops 204hp and 500Nm of torque and has combined fuel economy of 44.8mpg with CO
2 emissions from 165g/km, while the corresponding figures for the V6-engined ML 350 BlueTEC are 258hp, 620Nm, 39.2mpg and 189g/km.
