Skoda has released prices for the much anticipated Citigo that will launch in the UK on June 1. Entry into the new city car will start at £7,630 for a three-door Citigo in S trim rising to £10,415 for the five-door model in range topping SE trim and complete with the Automated Sequential Gearbox (ASG) transmission.
All Citigos will be powered a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine that offers outputs of either 60- or 75hp. At its greenest the Citigo puts out as little as 96g/km of Co2, making it exempt from London's congestion charge, while fuel economy of 69mpg means owners should not need to worry about potential strikes by fuel tanker drivers.
In its most basic the new Skoda Citigo will come equipped with head/thorax airbags, a height adjustable steering wheel, power steering, daytime driving lights, preparation for portable infotainment device (PID), CD player with aux input and 14-inch steel wheels. Mid-level SE trim adds electric front windows, body coloured door mirrors and handles, ESP, remote central locking and air conditioning as standard with electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, 14-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, leather steering wheel and front fog lamps reserved for the range topping Elegance trim
Elegance also includes Skoda's portable infotainment device (PID), which provides customers with an onboard computer, navigation system, hands-free Bluetooth connectivity and a multimedia player in a single removable device.
A range of eight exterior colours is available, including Candy White, Tornado Red, Spring Green Metallic and Deep Black Pearlescent.
