Bentley has released full details and pictures of the latest addition to its model line up, the Continental Flying Spur. As you can see, the Flying Spur shares much with the Continental GT. Indeed the success of the Coupe is what has lead to its saloon sister being delayed due to the full order books.
The two models share the same nose and the rear end of the Flying Spur has been styled to bear a strong family resemblance to Bentleys of yore. Beneath the elegant body the Flying Spur shares the same four-wheel drive system along with the 6-litre 552bhp twin-turbo W12 engine. This power unit makes the Flying Spur the fastest four-door Bentley ever produced with 190mph ability and a 5 second 0-60mph time.
Priced just above the GT the Flying Spur offers the usual Bentley opulence in the interior with sumptuous leather complemented by wood veneer finishes, whilst the long wheelbase and saloon body style give it generous four seat accommodation. The Flying Spur goes on sale in the spring. Expect to see it at the
2005 Geneva Show in March. We'll be there.
