Citroen has finally launched the VTR sports version of the C3, following the critical acclaim of the C2 VTS. Hoping to catch the same wave of enthusiasm as its Saxo forebear, the C3 goes on sale with £2,000 cashback offers until March meaning a bargain price of £10,545, and that's before you haggle.
The VTR offers a new version of the 1.6-litre 16v engine offering 110bhp giving a sub-10 second 0-60mph time and a top speed around 115mph. In common with previous VTRs, the C3 is fitted with a sports body kit, sporty interior and 16-inch alloy wheels to emphasise its sporting nature. Safety and security are taken care of courtesy of ABS with EBD, four airbags and an alarm fitted as standard with ESP and traction control available as optional extras.
