Fans of the new BMW M5 will have their first opportunity to see the super saloon in the UK at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 1-3 July,
The M5 is the most powerful production car BMW has ever made, courtesy of its 552bhp twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 engine. It covers 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds and uses a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
On sale in the UK from November with a price tag of £73,040, the new M5 will be on static display at Goodwood.
However, BMW has plenty of action planned for the weekend, including Le Mans racer Dirk Muller driving a Z4 GT3 up Goodwood's hillclimb course. BMW is also marking a couple of big anniversaries at Goodwood, so a 75-year-old BMW 328 will tackle the hill.
More up-to-date machinery will take on the hillclimb in the shape of a 25-year old BMW M3 Group A DTM race car in the hands of Steve Soper. It's 25 years since the M3 arrived and BMW will also have its latest limited edition
M3 GTS on hand to wow the crowds.
