Alfa Romeo has launched a new iPad App called, 'Alfa Romeo: The Official UK Magazine'.
Designed specifically for use on wi-fi networks, the App will complement the official UK magazine (which has a circulation of 27,000 Alfa fans) and also make full use of the iPad's interactive ability and touch-screen interface.
It will feature extra content including HD videos, sound effects (like the engine noise from an 8C), interactive animations and extended picture galleries, which are aimed at giving users a feel for the Alfa Romeo line-up.
The App will allow users to build their own Alfa Romeo by selecting a model and specification and then choosing from a list of interior and exterior options. The result can then be viewed as a 360-degree spinning image, and you can be directed to your nearest dealer.
Damien Dally, head of brand for Alfa Romeo UK, said: "The new Alfa magazine iPad App is highly creative and interactive and is a key part of our integrated editorial content strategy."
"Our cars always feature the latest technologies, so to produce an App was a logical progression for our quarterly magazine, which is in its fifth year of publication. It now means our customers can catch up on the latest Alfa Romeo news and stories wherever they may be," said Dally.
