When Nissan announced production of the GT-R SpecV back in January it promised that a few examples would make it to the UK. That time has almost arrived as the car can be ordered from 14th December for a delivery in April 2010.
Just 40 SpecV cars will be sold by Nissan High Performance Vehicle Centres across Europe. Customers have until 22nd January 2010 to place their order and the last cars will arrive by May.
European-market cars will benefit from both the enhancements that go with the performance package and the recently announced
2010 model-year changes. The most exclusive GT-R variant is offered in a new paint colour, Ultimate Black Opal, but Silver and Titanium are not available.
Don't expect to see the GT-R SpecV at your local dealer, as the only showroom with a car on display is Nissan's Sports showroom at the Nürburgring. Closer to home, two dealers handle all UK sales; one in St Helens, Merseyside and one in Oxford. The on-the-road price for the SpecV is £124,900.
