Like something aping F Scott Fitzgerald's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the Infiniti G37 appears to have been born in middle age, because the compact executive has already undergone a facelift despite being on sale for a matter of months here. The changes don't take effect until Spring 2010, though.
And to be honest you could make soup with this facelift, because the changes are all stock. The headlamp clusters are tweaked and the grille is revised slightly, with the minimalism justified because it 'proves the rightness of the original design.' Inside, the cabin material is improved, with high-gloss rosewood accents, new aluminium trim, white instrument backlighting and leather interior choices that are lighter in colour.
Infiniti's 'Connectiviti' information and entertainment system is available in the G37 now, as are four-wheel drive and four-wheel active steering. There are a handful of new colours too, including grey and red. Other than that it's as you were.
