The RR4 - or the 200EX, as it was called on its
Geneva plinth - will get a V12 engine linked to a brand new eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The 6.6-litre V12 lump will, we're assured, develop 'upwards of 500bhp', as well as being thriftier with fuel and the amount of CO
2 it spews into the blue sky.
The car is on the first leg of a world tour, during which it will take to the stage for a throng of mega wealthy and eager car people all looking to buy the car Rolls-Royce CEO Tom Purves says they'll "wish to drive themselves." Rumours that the RR4 will appear in Dubai accompanied by a collection of MINIs arranged in a Stonehenge-like formation, or a 'MINI Stonehenge', are yet to be confirmed.
Rolls-Royce has promised more information soon, but in the meantime is waxing lyrical about its sportiest car yet, seemingly keen to distance it from the
BMW 7 Series it will share lots of parts with by claiming the V12 engine is 'unique to Rolls Royce', for example. We haven't been given anything else of substance yet, but as soon as get it, so will you.
