Skoda has several new models lined up for the
Geneva Motor Show in March. Production versions of the Yeti, Octavia GreenLine and Fabia Scout will appear alongside the EMO design studies.
Four years ago Skoda showed the Yeti concept car at Geneva. The show car looked a little like an off-road version of the Roomster and was designed to be a 'non-aggressive' SUV. The production Yeti should echo the styling of the show car with big wheels, covered windscreen pillars and roof rails.
Skoda will also show the Octavia GreenLine for the first time at Geneva. This is the latest model in the Czech manufacturer's range of environmentally oriented cars. Featuring a 1.6-litre common rail turbodiesel engine delivering 103bhp it should return 64.2mpg and CO
2 emissions of 116g/km.
Other attractions on the show stand include the EMO concept cars; the Fabia Scout will be launched and the S2000 Fabia rally car will also be on display. As the name implies the EMO vehicles are 'an emotional reflection of the brand and its products'.
More details of all the exhibits will be released at the Geneva Motor Show, which runs from 5th to 15th March.
