Volkswagen has extended the Eos line-up with a new entry-level trim level. Anyone wanting the coupé convertible can now chose an Eos S from £19,440 on-the road.
Equipment levels remain largely unchanged with 16-inch alloy wheels, air-conditioning and remote central locking included as standard. The Eos S is offered with either 120bhp petrol or 138bhp diesel power, combined with a six-speed manual transmission. With diesel power the Eos S costs £20,970 while the petrol model is £1,530 less.
The former entry-level model, with an increased level of equipment, is now called the Eos SE. This includes 17-inch alloy wheels, parking sensors and a Luxury Pack (featuring headlamp delay and rain sensing wipers). On the SE, the six-speed DSG transmission is available with the 2.0-litre TDI engine and the 1.4-litre TSI engine is offered in either 120 or 158bhp guises. The Eos SE range starts at £20,530.
Completing the updated line-up, the Eos Sport and Individual now include the Luxury Pack as standard. The new Eos range is on sale now.
