| New Model Preview | 2008 Geneva Motor Show | Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 |
The Lamborghini Gallardo has never been a slouch, but the Italians have given it a good going over for the
Geneva motor show and come up with the LP560-4. The 560 part relates to the power output, which now hits 560bhp, while the 4 refers to the standard four-wheel drive that comes on all Gallardos.
The extra grunt means that the Gallardo now powers its way to a top speed of 203mph, while 0-62mph is dispatched in just 3.7 seconds. Along the way, buyers can also experience a revised six-speed E-gear sequential manual gearbox that now changes ratios 40% quicker than the previous one.
Spotting an LP560-4 is simple thanks to its jutting front air intakes, 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and redesigned front and rear LED lights. There are also now four exhaust pipes poking out from a new diffuser-style rear bumper.
Prices for the UK are expected to start at £150,000 and the order book is now open for the LP560-4.
