Skoda has added a range-topping Laurin & Klement version to the Yeti range. Available to order now the Laurin & Klement versions are priced from £24,835 - £2,000 more than the Yeti Elegance, but with extra equipment valued at double that figure.
The new Yeti can be identified by polished 17-inch alloy wheels, black side mouldings with a chrome ledge and L&K inscription on the front mud guards. Apart from Corrida Red and Pacific Blue the whole range of Yeti exterior colours are available. A coloured roof is not offered and all Laurin & Klement versions come with silver roof rails.
Standard equipment includes black leather seats with silver stitching and L&K logos, a leather, multi-function steering wheel and Piano Black cabin inlays. There is also Columbus satellite navigation with DAB, a heated windscreen and Park Assist.
Four-wheel drive is standard on the Yeti Laurin & Klement and three engines are available: 1.8-litre TSI petrol with 160hp; 2.0-litre TDI diesel with 140hp and DSG transmission; and a 2.0-litre TDI unit with 170hp. Carbon dioxide emissions range from 155g/km for the most powerful diesel to 189g/km for the petrol engine.
The Laurin & Klement title, applied to Skoda's flagship models, is a in tribute to Vaclav Laurin and Klement who founded the company that became Skoda.
