Citroen is celebrating World Rally Championship success with a special edition C4 coupé 'by Loeb' named after Sebastian Loeb - the world's most successful rally driver. The limited edition model will be produced as a numbered series with special trim and paint.

Sebastian Loeb has won the last five WRC driver's championships at the wheel of a Citroen. To commemorate his achievement the special edition C4 coupé features Loeb's signature on a plaque inside the cabin that also carries a unique serial number. Other features include metal trim surrounding the air vents, on the pedals and gear knob. The leather steering wheel features red stitching, a colour scheme echoed in the black and red '3D X-ray' mesh cloth sports seats. Floor mats with red surrounds and a 'by Loeb' design top off the interior.

The exterior is finished either in red or black with white or black 17-inch alloy wheels. Loeb's signature is reproduced on the doors just below the front quarterlight and there is a 'by Loeb' sticker on the tailgate. The rear hatch is also fitted with a spoiler to complete the sporting look.

Three 1.6-litre engines are offered; there is a 118bhp VTi model for £14,395; a 148bhp THP, turbocharged petrol version for £15,395; and a HDi turbodiesel with 108bhp for £15, 895.01. The performance figures are identical to other C4s with the same engines, which means a claimed 0-62mph time of 8.4 seconds for the THP and 62.8mpg on the combined cycle for the HDi.

The Citroen C4 by Loeb is on sale now.
