Jaguar has unveiled a raft of changes to the XK range (at the Geneva Show) to keep sales alive until the all-new car arrives at the end of 2005. Following updates to the powertrain last year, this year's changes are focused on the internal and external appearance of the XK. The new exterior styling is designed to bring the XK8 up to date with today's market trends. To this end the styling has been made more aggressive with a new grille, front and rear bumpers and deeper side sills. These are complemented by a new spoiler and larger exhaust trims. The XKR features a larger spoiler and quad tail pipes. Three new styles of alloys, named Aris, Atlas and Sepang, are available in 18, 19 and 20" respectively and there is now a choice of 15 body colours.

Internally the XK range now benefits from a selection of new veneer trim options, black window surrounds to replace the old grey ones and a driver controlled automatic speed limiter - a very relevant feature on today's Gatso infested road network. Two new option packs (Premium and Technology) offer the buyer the opportunity to add to the generous standard equipment list further without breaking the bank.
