Next year will be the 100th anniversary of Bentley Motors - the actual 'big day' will fall on July 10th, 2019 - and, as a result, all Bentleys built between January and December in 2019 will be finished in Centenary Specification. This means they get Centenary Gold detailing - such as for the front and rear badging, the wheel centre badges, the treadplates, the steering wheel badge, the key fob and the gear selector, all of which will also wear a '1919-2019' motif. A special Centenary welcome light will greet passengers as they walk up to the car, while the seat embroidery is bespoke to the 2019 Bentleys, with Centenary Gold headrest logos and Centenary Gold Contrast Stitch or Cross Stitch available. That colour, incidentally, is inspired by the metalwork found on some of the most famous vintage Bentleys, like the EXP2 of 1919 and the 'Birkin' Blower of 1929. Throughout 2019, there will be numerous events celebrating the first 100 years since W.O. Bentley set the company up, but the main party will take place on July 10th. A film looking back at Bentley's first century in business can be viewed at www.BentleyMotors.com/100Years.
