2018-09-20: Driven: Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition

Ford tuner, Mountune, has released a performance upgrade kit for the Ford Focus ST diesel. The 'm460D' kit reworks the ECU via a plug-in dongle and cuts the 0-60mph time by 0.7 seconds (now down to 7.4 seconds). Overall power output rises by 20hp and torque by 50Nm, which delivers some useful extra grunt. It's an easy-to-install kit that owners can buy and set-up themselves (for £429) or have installed at Mountune's Essex HQ for £350 (as customers don't need to purchase the installation ancillaries). The m460D kit is solely available for Focus ST diesels with a manual transmission.
