2018-03-09: Driven: Skoda Kodiaq Scout

Abt Sportsline has released a tuned version of Skoda's Kodiaq SUV as the company extends its portfolio across even more of the Volkswagen Group's range. There are two engines available - one petrol and one diesel. Power from the 2.0-litre petrol unit jumps from 180hp to 216hp and the 2.0-litre turbodiesel's output rises from 190- to 215hp. The power boosts are achieved by swapping the Kodiaq's ECU with Abt's own in-house unit. All models are fitted with Abt alloy wheels, ranging from 18- to 21-inch in diameter, finished in various shades of black and grey. Owners of standard 150hp 2.0-litre TDI Kodiaqs can also have Abt rework their cars, uprating them to put out 180hp and 380Nm of torque.
