Hyundai has added N Line as a trim to the i30 range, offering the sporty-looking specification on its C-segment hatchback, only without the expense/power of the full i30 N hot version. Provided with a 140hp T-GDi turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine and the choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT automatic gearboxes, N Line customers will enjoy bolder looking bumpers, 18-inch alloys, sports seats, loads of interior equipment and plenty of safety kit. There are ten colours to choose from and the warm i30s can do 0-62mph in as little as 8.9 seconds, with a 130mph top speed (manual), while providing best economy and CO2 emissions figures of 49.6mpg and 129g/km respectively (DCT). Prices start at £21,255 for the i30 N Line manual and rise to £24,255 for the i30 N Line + DCT, this latter ‘+’ trim enjoying even more goodies, like heated leather/suede seats, satnav on an eight-inch screen and dual-zone climate control. Sales of the N Line i30s start on September 3.
