Andrew Frampton kicks off the 2002 WRC season with his preview to the 2002 Monte Carlo rally started in earnest today. This season looks to be as exciting as last year, and fans that rely on the television for coverage will be delighted with the FIA's added efforts in that field.

Backing that up is the final part of the 2001 season review to give you a taster for the season ahead.

The Detroit Show has been even more interesting and extensive than we could have guessed - it is being updated with more images and information over the following days.

Monte Carlo 2002 preview

Famed for its casinos and multi-millionaires, Monte Carlo hosts the first round of the 2002 World Rally Championship. The asphalt event is a favourite of Tommi Makinen, who has claimed three successive victories in the principality. However, the pre-season team changes have thrown the battle right open.
