A steady rise in customer satisfaction has seen Jaguar rise from 3rd to 1st place in this year's JD Power Survey, knocking Lexus off the top spot - a position the Japanese manufacturer has sat in for the past 11 years.
This year's vehicle satisfaction survey was based on the results of almost 18,000 participants who rated their vehicles on everything from performance and reliability to fuel economy and running costs after two years of ownership.
Jaguar's success in the survey was helped in no small part to the XF, a model that climbed 15 places since the 2011 survey to be awarded the 'Executive Car of the Year' Award - and finish 2nd place overall. The XF has enjoyed much success since its launch having already picked up over 100 awards, and being Jaguar's best-selling model.
"To be awarded the Number One spot by JD Power is a huge honour," spoke Jeremy Hicks, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover UK. "Determination, attention to detail and commitment to quality have delivered this result."
Jaguar also claims a 56 per cent sales increase in April 2012, displaying that the brand continues to perform well in the UK ahead of the launch of the XF Sportbrake later this year, and the F-Type in 2013.
