What's the news?
Two new Special Edition Coupé Cabriolets from Peugeot, continuing a long tradition of using the Roland Garros name - after the French Open tennis tournament. The 207 and 308 CC Roland Garros are on sale now; both get special paint and extra equipment.
Exterior
Both versions come in a choice of black or white paint - pearlescent for the 308 - and carry Roland Garros badges. The 207 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and its big brother gets a set of 18-inch Storm rims.
Interior
Leather upholstery is standard along with Roland Garros branded carpet mats and wind-stop. Both models come with Bluetooth, automatic headlamps and parking sensors (rear only on the 207, front and rear on the 308). The 207 also comes with aluminium door sills, tinted rear windows and dual-zone air conditioning.
Mechanicals
A choice of petrol and diesel power is offered. The 207 CC comes with a 120hp petrol or 112hp diesel engine. For the 308 CC customers can pick 156- or 200hp versions of the 1.6-litre THP petrol motor or the 2.0-litre 163hp HDi diesel.
Data
Prices for the 207 CC Roland Garros start at £18,795. That represents a £650 increase on the price of the Allure version but Peugeot claims the extra equipment is worth almost twice as much. The 308 CC Roland Garros is available from £25,845.
