Monaco's Top Marques 2012 has seen the unveiling of Slovenia's entry into the supercar fray with the new hand-built Tushek Renovatio T500.
Making good use of carbon fibre in its construction to keep weight down to 1,133kg, the Renovatio is powered by a modified Audi RS4 4.2-litre V8 engine good for 450hp, claims a 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed nudging 200mph.
Only 30 examples of these scissor-doored, removable hardtop Tusheks will be built, with company founder Aljosa Tushek telling us that prices start at around €300,000 (about £245,000), depending on individual specification.
Tushek also revealed that a new hyper-car is currently being built in Slovenia, and will be known as the Forego T700. Tushek expects this car to weigh in at less than 1,000kg and offer 700hp from its supercharged Audi R8 powerplant. Suggesting it will be ready for the Top Marques show in April 2013, Tushek also mentioned that it would realise 3.3g in corners, while the current Renovatio T500 offers its driver 'only' 1.7g.
