For most people motor shows represent the only way of getting up close and personal with exotica such as the Koenigsegg Agera R, Pagani Zonda and classics from Ferrari, Aston Martin or Jaguar. That is if you can get past the velvet ropes and the 'look but don't touch' ethos that dominates most such events.
Top Marques Monaco is different. There are no barriers in place. Nor do the staff usher you away from the objects of your affection. In fact they will encourage you to sit in the car, feel the quality of the finish, smell the Connolly hide and, if you are lucky (or wealthy) enough, even let you take the car for a drive around the iconic Monaco Formula 1 circuit. This approach is all part of the show's ethos of 'See it! Drive it! Buy it!'
The ninth outing of the Top Marques Monaco show takes place at the Grimaldi Forum and will see established supercars from Koenigsegg, Pagani and McLaren vie for attention with bespoke creations from GTA Motor, Tushek Supercar, Roding Automobile and cars from the MS Design, Mansory, Gembella, Hamann and MTM styling houses.
Top Marques is more than just a car show and will also feature motor bikes from Greber, Avinton and Swiss custom builders DK Motorrad, as well as electric bikes from LITO Green Motion. Or if boats are more your thing Top Marques will give attendees the opportunity to sea trial power boats, luxury tenders and all manner of toys of the nautical kind in the same crystal clear waters that will play host to a flotilla of yachts come Grand Prix weekend.
Doors are open from April 19 to 22. For more information go to
