Having made its world debut at the Detroit Auto Show, the Acura NSX concept is set to stun European audiences when it is unveiled, complete with Honda badges, at March's Geneva Motor Show. Powered by a mid-mounted V6 petrol engine and twin electric motors the NSX will take advantage of Honda's Super Handling All Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system and lightweight construction to deliver supercar performance without the high horsepower figures expected of such cars - or so we're told.

At the other end of the scale the Japanese manufacturer will also debut the first example of its 'Earth Dreams Technology' in the guise of a new 1.6-litre diesel engine. Despite producing 120hp and 300Nm of torque Honda claims the new unit can deliver sub-100g/km of CO₂ and expect the new technology to propel it to the number one slot in the fuel economy league within three years.

Two new versions of the Jazz will take their bow at the show. Featuring sports suspension and styling changes inside and out the Jazz Si will arrive in the summer of 2012 but a more efficient variant is due to arrive before it. As the name suggests the Jazz 1.2 with Idle Stop (that should be some bumper sticker) employs start-stop technology to reduce CO₂ emissions to less than 120g/km - 3g/km better than standard 1.2-litre variants.

The final pieces in the Honda line-up will be a near production ready CR-V prototype that will highlight the styling of the fourth generation car, set to go on sale in autumn. The EV-ster, the all-electric rear-wheel drive roadster that featured at the Tokyo Motor Show, will also be shown in Geneva. Said to underline Honda's aim of developing sporty, exciting products Car Enthusiast hope that it may some day make production as a modern day Honda Beat.
